Join our Loaned Executive Program

What's a Loaned Executive?

Each year, United Way of Marshall County asks local organizations to select one or more of their valued employees to participate in the Loaned Executive Program. Participants develop and implement company campaigns by working with top management and employee campaign coordinators. These loaned executives come from all areas of the work force, including middle management, professional, clerical and organized labor. Many employers utilize the Loaned Executive program to strengthen and improve employees’ professional and personal skills.

Benefits to the Loaned Executive:

  • Strengthened skills in sales, time management, communications, negotiation and presentations
  • Increased self-confidence
  • Valuable contacts throughout the business community
  • Heightened awareness and understanding of community needs and resources in health and human services

Time commitment:

  • 2 day training in July
  • Meetings twice a month during campaign (Aug - Nov)

Join our Campaign Cabinet

We are looking for volunteers representing our community as well as various business divisions - education, finance, health, industry, retail and public sector - to serve as champions for United Way of Marshall County. The Campaign Cabinet volunteers are top executives and community leaders who will serve to set benchmarks, implement strategies, and monitor outcomes within their respective areas of expertise.

TIME COMMITMENT (Aug - Sep)

  • Review campaign giving history of assigned accounts
  • Attend cabinet orientation and goal setting meeting
  • Make account calls and follow through to completion
