Small Business Radio Blitz set for October 24!

JOIN UNITED WAY’S SMALL BUSINESS BLITZ SET FOR OCTOBER 24

Guntersville, AL – Entrepreneurs and small business owners have the opportunity to make a difference in the community by participating in United Way of Marshall County’s Small Business Blitz, scheduled for October 24th. This annual event serves as a way for United Way to focus on the generosity of the small businesses in Marshall County that are interested in supporting the 2023-2024 fundraising campaign.

From now until October 24th, dedicated volunteers will be reaching out to local small businesses to seek pledges and donations for this year's campaign. No contribution is too small; every bit counts when it comes to creating positive change in the community. Participating businesses will not only make a significant impact in Marshall County but will also receive publicity and recognition on local radio stations for their support.

United Way has joined forces with WQSB 105.1 in Albertville and WTWX 95.9 in Guntersville, to amplify the support on air for small businesses that make a pledge by or before October 24th. Additionally, participants will gain visibility through United Way's various social media platforms. Small businesses play a vital role in positively impacting the lives of many individuals and families in need. Investing in United Way enables each dollar to stretch further, creating a more significant impact than any individual effort.

Small business owners interested in being part of this year's Small Business Blitz, please reach out to United Way of Marshall County and make your pledge by October 24th. Contributions can be mailed to 709 Blount Avenue, Guntersville, AL 35976, with checks payable to United Way of Marshall County.

The funds collected during this campaign will play a vital role in allowing United Way to support organizations that offer critical services to residents in need throughout Marshall County. United Way of Marshall County stands behind 20 nonprofit organizations and programs that touch the lives of thousands of residents in various ways. These services include addressing fundamental needs, providing safety nets against homelessness, food insecurity, financial instability, and tackling pressing community issues such as child abuse and neglect, domestic violence, and sexual assault.
