What is Day of Caring?
Day of Caring is our community's largest day of the year for volunteering, and is recognized as the official kickoff for United Way of Marshall County's annual giving campaign. Day of Caring brings together hundreds of volunteers from across the county to create a positive impact on nonprofits and human service providers helping our neighbors in need. This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone who lives or works in our community to gain a deeper understanding of local needs. You can sign up to assist with projects such as completing yardwork for partner agencies, reading to children, packing food bags for seniors, and more. Volunteers of all ages and skill levels are welcome to participate.
When? Join us on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.
Prior to heading to your volunteer project for the day, Day of Caring begins with a kickoff breakfast to express our gratitude for volunteering your time and talents to benefit our local nonprofit community. We hope you will be able to join us!
