United Way of Marshall County's and 2-1-1 First Call for Help 20th Annual Can-A-Thon was held on December 4. Canned goods were collected throughout Marshall County to help feed those in need in our community. A total of 27,149 canned goods and non-perishable food items were collected.
We would like to thank all of the volunteers that took time out of their day and braced the cold weather to help us feed the people of Marshall County. This event wouldn't be possible without them. Special shout out to Mitchell Grocery (Foodlands throughout our county) and Walmart for supporting our cause and letting us set up at their locations.
